What We Do

Fresh Theatre Arts is an educational theatre company whose mission is to introduce, educate and encourage youth to participate in performing arts programming while strengthening their creativity, self-esteem, and social skills. Our goal is to provide professional instruction in the areas of technical theatre, acting, dance and voice.

Our goal is to empower people—especially young students and emerging artists—to:

1) Express themselves creatively through theater and performance.

2) Build confidence on stage and in their everyday lives.

3) Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team or ensemble.

4) Explore their identity and voice through storytelling and character work.

5) Engage with the arts as a form of education and personal growth.

6)Take creative risks in a safe, supportive environment.

7) Develop a passion for the performing arts—not just as entertainment, but as a tool for empowerment, education, and social connection.

Fresh Theatre Arts is grounded in the belief that theater is not just about performance—it's a powerful way to help people find their voice, tell their stories, and connect with others.

While core subjects can be stressful and overwhelming for some students, extra curricular activities create an opportunity for a child to grow and develop in comfortable circumstances that they might not get anywhere else. Today's leaders are created inside AND outside of the classroom. Through Fresh Theatre's professional programming, students gain confidence and learn skills that are critical to their success in everyday life.

We offer a wide variety of "projects" from after school programs resulting in full-scale musicals to birthday parties, where your child's party becomes a Broadway show! Fresh Theatre Arts is currently serving communities in New Jersey.
